There is nothing more coveted in senior living than the perfect senior living lead . . . someone who is financially capable of moving into a community, is emotionally ready to move, and has a date certain by when they “have to” move.
If every community had five or ten of these each month -- they were not looking at any other community -- the world of senior living would be rainbows and cotton candy. But it is not that way or even close to it.
Lots of Choices
For this reason, there are a wide variety of companies that are laser focused on lead generation for their senior living clients. Several are Senior Housing Forum partners. Each of these organizations take very different approaches to helping senior living organizations supplement their internal lead generation strategies.
Anecdotally, individual senior organizations and companies are all over the map. A few don’t use online lead generation services at all and others fill 30-40% of their units using these services.
There Is A Lot We Don’t Know
We just plain don’t have very good data about how dependent senior living organizations are on various lead generation services or how effective they are. Therefore, Senior Housing Forum has teamed up with Sage Age Strategies to explore the intersection of senior living providers and paid lead generation firms. We want to explore two areas:
How well it is working today for provider organizations
What it might look like in 2, 3 and 5 years.
